Ben Finer
Ben Finer creates grotesque masks designed to help people express their misery and find catharsis. The surrealist mask maker born in Vermont earned his MFA from Parsons School of Design in New York and his BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. His unique approach to mask making involves using paper and tape as if they were clay, crafting unsettling and discomforting forms. Finer's masks have been featured in films, live performances, and music videos, contributing to their haunting and distinctive aesthetics.
