Danielle Frankenthal
Danielle Frankenthal’s creations are interactive with light, evolving with the ambient conditions and the viewer's perspective. Born in New York, her first solo show was in 1984. Her artistic focus is on the interplay of mark and color against a strong yet sometimes subtle substructure. By painting on transparent Acrylite® layers, she aims to replicate the complex vision of adults, drawing attention to the layers of perception shaped by cultural conditioning and life experiences. This dynamic experience invites continuous discovery and contemplation, offering an ever-changing visual and emotional engagement.
She has exhibited in numerous group shows and had solo shows with Mizuma and Kips Gallery, NY; Columbus Museum of Art, GA; Art Labbe in Miami, FL; Nicole Longnecker Gallery and Wade Wilson- Houston, TX and more. Her work has also been placed in important public collections in New York, Texas, and Georgia.
