Stacy Mehrfar
Stacy Arezou Mehrfar creations look closely at the symbiotic relationships between the individual and the collective, place and belonging, and memory and narrative. First-generation Iranian American artist living and working in New York City, Stacy holds an MFA from the University of NSW School of Art and Design in Sydney, a BFA from the University of Wisconsin, and a Certificate in Creative Practices from the International Center of Photography (ICP).
Mehrfar's works have been exhibited nationally and internationally in venues such as KMAC Contemporary Art Museum, Filter Space, TEDxSydney, Ethan Cohen KuBe, ClampArt, ICP, the Australian Centre of Photography, and the State Library of New South Wales. Stacy has participated in artist residencies at Interlude and I-Park Foundation, and she is a 2024 resident studio artist at The Clemente, NYC. Stacy Mehrfar is faculty at ICP, SVA, and PhotoPhlo.
